Choose how to install

Windows offers 3 ways to install. Pick whichever fits your workflow.

The classic installer with a guided setup wizard.

  1. 1Download and run the .exe installer.
  2. 2If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway (the build is signed).
  3. 3Follow the wizard and launch Space when it finishes.

Microsoft Store

Sandboxed install with updates managed by Windows.

  1. 1Open the Microsoft Store.
  2. 2Search for “Space” and select Get.
  3. 3Launch it from the Start menu.

Scriptable install for power users and fresh machines.

  1. 1Open PowerShell or Terminal.
  2. 2Run the command below.
  3. 3Update later with winget upgrade Space.Space.

After installing, open Space and choose where your files live — our provider, your own storage, or on-device with the companion app. You can change this at any time.
